Partner hire sees expansion of Kemp Little’s data protection and privacy offering

Kemp Little LLP, the leading technology and digital media law firm, is pleased to announce that Marta Dunphy-Moriel has joined the firm as a partner in the data protection and privacy team.

Marta is dual-qualified in England and Wales and Spain who has worked as a key team member in leading privacy teams, including Bird and Bird and Fieldfisher, both in the UK and Spain. Internationally focused, she specialises in all areas of data protection and privacy and has significant experience working with pan-European and global businesses to achieve compliance. She has particular expertise acting as external DPO, implementing GDPR compliance projects as well as advising on data sharing, data export solutions and BCR, cookies, privacy impact assessments, privacy by design, user rights, SARs, disclosure to authorities and data breaches. Marta has a particular interest in AI and privacy issues in the health (from clinical trials to site relationships) and healthtech (especially AI in health) sectors as well as in media and travel (her experience includes working with the BA group (IAG) star low cost, Vueling).

As co-chair of the data protection committee of the Society for Computers and Law (SCL), Marta has an active role in understanding the privacy issues in different sectors and discussing and proposing pragmatic solutions with market leaders.

Marta joined Kemp Little on 2 September 2019 from Fieldfisher.
