Leading technology law firm Kemp Little was named by a judging panel of in-house lawyers and industry experts as Boutique Law Firm of the Year 2017 at its annual awards ceremony last night.
In selecting Kemp Little the judges recognised the firm’s focus on developing in-house software tools such as KLerical, which enables clients to track and interrogate legal provisions of data licenses, as well as its online portal, FlightDeck which hosts templates and advice for start-ups and early stage businesses.
Judges also flagged the firm’s investment in transformational areas such as big data, robotics, biometrics and artificial intelligence. They also noted its deployment of Kira to bring machine learning into its processes, as well as a number of significant panel and new business wins.
Kemp Little’s partnership chair Calum Murray said, “it is great to receive this award in recognition of the hard work of the team at the firm, not just last year but over the last few years. We are very happy to be recognised for our work at the legal industry’s premier awards.”
